CHARLES MAHAN

Charles L. Mahan is a fourth generation Texan, born in Marlin, Texas 1943 and raised in Tomball, Texas. After Tomball high school graduation he attended Sam Houston University in Huntsville, Texas. Charles is married to Jo Ann and they have two children Earl and Amy. 

In 2024, Jo and Charles will celebrate 60 years of marriage. They now have 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and are truly blessed.


Charles is also a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker and an experienced site acquisition manager. His work experiences have afforded him the opportunity to travel all across the great state of Texas seeing and experiencing the many different and varied landscapes. 


Artist Statement

In my art I hope to capture the beauty of the landscape and peaceful serenity of experiencing a glowing sunset or water reflections. I have traveled many back roads and highways and I have tried to share a few special scenes that you may enjoy and love from the comfort of your home.

If my painting gives you a sense of comfort, happiness and serenity each time you see it and go to that place, then my wish is for your joy!
